How to get to Asian Food Festival in Nieuwmarkt, Amsterdam?

(from wiki)

Verkeer en vervoer

Bij metrostation Nieuwmarkt stoppen de lijnen 51, 53 en 54.

If you are coming from outside Amsterdam and wish to take the tram from Central Station, take tram 51, 53, 54 and stop at tram line Nieuwmarkt. It is easy to find where the festival is because it is at a square (plein) beside the monument Waag.

Use the Park + Ride where you park your car for a a very low fee per day a few euros and get a free public transport ride. Please read (in english :

(Park + Ride in dutch:

Or park in neighbourhood outside the ring of Amsterdam because most of the time it is free and then take the tram.

It was a lovely sunday despite the cold weather, everyone was enthusiastic being out, eating and watching the dragon dance and performances. I had a nice conversation with many people who came to say hi and also asking about the food that we were selling on that day, what is Otak-otak (otah) and about the cooking workshop. I wish I had more time to chat with people but unfortunately I had to make the roti chapati non-stop.
Here are the photos that I put together for the video. Very beautiful photos that captured the ambience, food and the festival feeling of the first Asian Food Festival in Amsterdam. These photos are contributed by the organizer Stichting Chinatown Amsterdam.

A chance not to be missed as this is the first Christmas Food Court which offers variety, the best food and affordable food.
